We are a registered non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization founded in March 2021 in Nigeria.
We exist to support and accompany women, girls and vulnerable communities, and to help them thrive in dignity, resilience, and hope.
AliveWGF was born from a simple belief we hold close: women and girls affected by conflict, displacement, violence, poverty, and exclusion need more than short-term help. They need to be accompanied, supported and provided with real opportunities, and the chance to rebuild their lives on their own terms. We do not see the people we serve as victims but as rights holders and companions on a journey to thrive. We see capable women and girls who, with the right support, become active contributors to their families and communities.
Our work is guided by human rights, gender equality, inclusion, safeguarding, accountability, community participation, and sustainability. We walk alongside government institutions, schools, community leaders, civil society organizations, and development partners, because we believe lasting change is built together and led by the communities we serve.
